Thirty years called for a celebration to remember, and throughout August, Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel marked the milestone with a full month dedicated to the guests and team members who have been part of the journey.
The 30th Anniversary Celebration brought special promotions, major giveaways, and live entertainment to the property. Guests also had the chance to learn more about the people behind KLEC and join us for a finale that lit up the Eagle Pass sky.
Celebrating the People Behind 30 Years
Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel opened its doors 30 years ago, and lots has changed in that time. Throughout that growth, our team members have continued to play an important role in creating the KLEC experience.
During August, we introduced guests to members of our team and invited them to share what their time at KLEC has meant to them. We heard stories from employees who have built careers here for more than two decades. We also heard from team members who have been part of KLEC since the very beginning.
Their stories gave us a chance to recognize the people who have grown alongside KLEC and helped shape its history.

Anniversary Weekend Brings Live Music to Eagle Pass
The celebration continued August 21st and 22nd with two nights of live music at our outdoor venue.
Alicia Villarreal and Grupo Control joined us Friday night. On Saturday, Los Tucanes de Tijuana took the stage alongside Tapy Quintero and De Parranda.
Guests came together throughout the weekend to enjoy the performances and celebrate 30 years of Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel.
The Biggest Vehicle Giveaway in KLEC History
Anniversary weekend also brought one of the most anticipated moments of the month: the Win of a Lifetime Ferrari Giveaway.
Lucky Rewards members spent August earning entries for the chance to win a Ferrari 296 GTS. On August 22nd, the wait came to an end as F.V. was selected as the grand prize winner and received the keys to the Ferrari.
Guests also had opportunities to win Cash and Lucky Bucks throughout the day, making the giveaway an exciting part of our anniversary weekend.
Lighting Up the Sky for One Final Celebration
We closed out anniversary month on August 29th with our 30th Anniversary Spectacular.
Guests gathered outside for a drone show followed by a fireworks display over the Eagle Pass sky. It was a special way to mark the end of a month that had been 30 years in the making.
The evening also featured Goodbye Summer, Hello Tahoe. At 11:30pm, where S.M. from San Antonio, TX was named the winner of a brand-new 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Our 30th Anniversary gave us the opportunity to look back at how much Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel has grown while recognizing the people who made this milestone possible.
