Eagle Pass, Texas — July 15, 2026: Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel and the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas celebrated the groundbreaking of a new hotel tower expansion, marking a major investment in the future of Texas’ largest casino and the continued growth of tourism and hospitality in South Texas.

The project represents the next chapter in the property’s evolution as it celebrates 30 years of serving guests from across Texas, Mexico, and beyond. Upon completion, the expansion will bring the property’s total hotel inventory to 252 rooms, including 80 suites. The project also includes a full renovation of the existing hotel lobby, a new resort-style pool, a 60-seat restaurant and bar, and a new courtyard connecting the hotel tower and casino floor.

Together, these enhancements are designed to support growing visitation, expand accommodations, and elevate the overall resort experience. The investment reflects the property’s continued commitment to meeting guest demand while strengthening its position as one of the leading entertainment and hospitality destinations in South Texas.

For three decades, Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel has welcomed millions of visitors, awarded life-changing jackpots, hosted premier concerts and special events, and become an important destination for gaming, dining, entertainment, and hospitality. As the property marks its 30th anniversary, the groundbreaking signals a continued commitment to growth and long-term investment in the guest experience.

The additional hotel accommodations will help meet growing demand and allow more guests to stay on the property while enjoying everything Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel has to offer. By expanding access to gaming, dining, entertainment, and promotional experiences, the project supports the property’s continued growth and positions it to welcome future generations of guests for years to come.

The hotel tower expansion also represents a significant investment in the Eagle Pass community and the surrounding region. As one of the area’s largest employers and tourism drivers, Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel contributes to local economic activity by attracting visitors who support area businesses, restaurants, and service providers. The expansion is expected to further strengthen the property’s role as an economic engine for the region by encouraging increased visitation and longer guest stays.

The project also reflects the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas’ ongoing commitment to investing in opportunities that support long-term growth and sustainability. Throughout the property’s 30-year history, the Tribe has continued to invest in improvements that enhance the guest experience while supporting employment, tourism, and economic development in South Texas.

Today’s groundbreaking serves as both a celebration of the property’s first 30 years and a look ahead to its future. As construction begins, the hotel tower expansion represents a continued investment in the people, partnerships, and experiences that have helped shape Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel into one of the region’s leading entertainment destinations.

Additional information regarding the hotel tower expansion, including project updates and future milestones, will be shared as construction progresses.
